Generative AI is reshaping how we think, learn, and write—but in the classroom, it should enhance rather than replace the human work of teaching and learning. This three-part virtual workshop explores how AI can serve as a powerful assistant in the classroom while keeping student voice, agency, and critical thinking at the center.
The Future Learning Pathways (FLP) Network is a grant-funded collaborative with the goal of developing innovative, competency-based learning practices. School District teams form the network, and benefit from shared resources, expert guidance, and the time and space to create a plan that supports student growth and success in career, college, and life.
This virtual workshop builds on the concept of active Communities of Practice in elevating distributive leadership with the outcome of school improvement at all levels. There is an emphasis on experimentation and application of collaborative leading in authentic environments as well as building and supporting teacher leadership. Participants consider what it means to be a leader, who it is within an education organization who can exercise effective leadership, and how educators exercise leadership.
Artificial Intelligence is transforming Social Studies classrooms. This three-part, virtu-al series is designed for Social Studies educators who want to gain a deeper under-standing of AI, explore practical ways it can support teaching, and learn strategies to help students use it responsibly. Each session is interactive, with demonstrations, guided practice, and resources teachers can bring back to their classrooms.
